What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior Manager of Treasury will support the Senior Vice President of Finance in overseeing all aspects of cash management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning. This role is responsible for building the team, systems, and structure necessary to create a world-class Treasury function capable of supporting the company's continued growth. We are seeking a strategic thinker and strong communicator who excels in fast-paced environments and can drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize working capital.

Responsibilities

  • Leads all operational aspects of daily operations of the Treasury function
  • Manages customer credit evaluation process to establish and monitor credit limits to reduce financial risk, accelerate collections and enhance working capital performance
  • Drives continuous process improvements and implements treasury best-practices to optimize cash flow visibility
  • Responsible for taking a primary role in managing banking relationships, including account administration, creating and managing the company’s overall bank account structure, service model and signatory management
  • Oversees the development of reporting dashboards and bank reporting to other internal stakeholders, responsible for effective communication to senior leadership on findings, improvements and execution
  • Monitors liquidity needs and owns and improves cashflow forecast process; compiles information from around the company, understands the impact of working capital policies, accounting methods and capital projections to provide accurate liquidity projections
  • Develops, manages, and advances the complex process to prepare company cash flow forecast and other needed analysis, including reviewing detailed variance analysis and explanations
  • Interacts regularly with FP&A, Commercial Operations, Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to create best in class processes and thought leadership to the Treasury function
  • Provides insight necessary to help shorten and/or optimize the cash conversion cycle
  • Guides the team in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Manages and develops the Treasury to work collaboratively with all business functions
  • Oversees debt reporting, debt repayments, covenant compliance, and forecasting of repayment schedule and related interest costs
  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner
  • Upholds Company policies and procedures
  • Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public
  • Other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and process improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successful implementation of process improvements
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, banking platforms other financial technology platforms used in treasury environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel
  • Able to prioritize duties and manage multiple projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Must possess the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with risk management and insurance placement/renewals such as General Liability, Workers Comp, Auto

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience, ideally with both private and public companies
  • CTP or CPA preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and experience leading process improvement initiatives preferred
  • Experience with automation and digital transformation projects within financial operations preferred
  • Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Continuously able to work in office environment
  • Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
  • Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
  • Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
  • Rarely requires climbing
  • Ability to travel on occasion
