What You’ll Be Doing

As our Learning & Development Specialist, you’ll design and deliver programs that empower our employees, develop our leaders, and drive measurable business results. You’ll collaborate with HR, department leaders, and vendors to deliver learning solutions across performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting and feedback strategies

  • Build and maintain competency frameworks aligned to key roles and performance expectations

  • Drive career pathing and development strategies for critical roles and high-potential talent

  • Develop and manage talent review cycles and succession planning processes in collaboration with HR and leadership

  • Design and deliver leadership development programs tailored to different career levels

  • Partner with LMS Administrator to support eLearning course development, system reporting, and compliance tracking

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual learning sessions aligned with organizational goals

  • Track performance, learning metrics, and dashboards to provide actionable insights to senior leadership

  • Align all talent development efforts with business strategy and ensure accessibility companywide

  • Support change management initiatives related to talent, culture, and leadership development

  • Organize logistics for training events, leadership workshops, and learning forums

  • Manage relationships with external training vendors and serve as a key point of contact

  • Represent Learning & Development with professionalism, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset

This role may be based at our Melbourne, FL office with hybrid flexibility. Remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates outside the area.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a skilled learning professional who knows how to design programs that align with real business goals. You’re analytical, organized, collaborative — and most of all, passionate about people development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Training & Development, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience leading performance reviews, succession planning, and development programs

  • Strong background in competency modeling, leadership development, and high-potential talent strategy

  • Experience in organizations with 500+ employees strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning evaluation

  • Skilled in facilitating live and virtual learning sessions across all levels of an organization

  • Excellent communication, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and LMS platforms

  • Familiarity with learning technologies, vendor management, and compliance requirements

  • Certifications in ATD, SHRM, or related disciplines a plus

  • Experience in HVAC or service industry environments is a bonus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work consistently in an office or hybrid setting

  • Able to sit, type, and use a computer for extended periods

  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs. and support training/event setup

  • Must be comfortable with occasional travel as needed
