What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Communications Manager to lead our internal communications efforts and elevate our global employee engagement strategy. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning the company’s vision, values, and priorities across the organization by delivering compelling, executive-aligned messaging. You’ll oversee the creation and implementation of internal campaigns, multimedia storytelling, and employee advocacy programs, fostering a transparent and connected culture within a complex B2B environment.

As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, you’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent, impactful communication that informs, inspires, and unites employees around shared goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of a cohesive, enterprise-wide internal communications strategy aligned with business objectives and leadership priorities
  • Creates and oversees the editorial calendar for internal updates, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives
  • Drafts and refines key messaging on behalf of the CEO and executive leadership, including company-wide announcements, memos, and town hall scripts
  • Provides strategic counsel and support to executives to enhance their visibility and voice across internal platforms
  • Develops tailored communications plans for leadership initiatives, organizational changes, and strategic milestones
  • Partners with HR teams to drive initiatives that celebrate employee contributions and foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and recognition
  • Creates programs that bring company values to life through storytelling, virtual events, and employee spotlights
  • Leads and evolves formats for two-way communication, including town halls, AMAs, pulse surveys, and feedback loops
  • Oversees the launch and management of engaging multimedia channels such as internal podcasts, video interviews, and newsletters
  • Ensures effective use of communication platforms (Intranet, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and drive innovation in content delivery and engagement tracking
  • Monitors engagement metrics and uses data to continuously optimize content strategy and reach
  • Builds and leads an internal influencer program to empower employees as storytellers and cultural ambassadors
  • Develops toolkits and content support for employee-generated media, blogs, and social posts aligned with company messaging
  • Maintains consistency of voice and tone across channels, and acts as a brand guardian for internal content
  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner
  • Upholds Company policies and procedures
  • Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public
  • Other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Macros, If Statements, Formulas)
  • Ability to coordinate, contribute to and work within a cross-functional team
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Able to prioritize duties and manage multiple projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Must possess the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate/internal communications, preferably in a B2B or enterprise setting
  • Proven experience advising executives and leading high-impact internal campaigns
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills across multiple formats and tones
  • Experience managing digital content platforms and internal media (e.g., podcasting, video series)
  • Deep understanding of employee engagement, change communications, and culture-building
  • Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize effectively, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with modern communications tools (Teams, SharePoint, Notion, podcasting tools, etc.)
  • Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Continuously able to work in office environment
  • Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
  • Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
  • Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
  • Rarely requires climbing
  • Ability to travel on occasion
