What You’ll Be Doing

As our Talent Program Specialist, you’ll design, implement, and manage programs that support performance management, leadership growth, succession planning, and employee career pathing. You’ll work closely with HR, business leaders, and external vendors to ensure our talent strategies align with Nextech’s business goals and culture.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Bring Nextech’s people strategy to life by designing and executing impactful talent programs that elevate engagement, recognition, and career growth
  • Support and evolve performance management processes, including goal setting, reporting, and analytics
  • Help shape career pathing strategies and competency frameworks that guide employees toward meaningful growth opportunities
  • Contribute to high-potential programs, talent reviews, and succession planning efforts that strengthen Nextech’s future leadership pipeline
  • Support employee and leadership development initiatives through facilitation, and program coordination
  • Analyze program data, build dashboards, and deliver insights that influence decisions around retention, productivity, and performance
  • Support execution of the annual employee engagement survey
  • Support recognition programs that celebrate achievements, milestones, and peer success across the organization
  • Partner with internal teams to promote talent initiatives, strengthening Nextech’s employer brand and culture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and consistency across programs
  • Manage vendor relationships and program logistics to deliver high-quality experiences at scale
  • Maintain accurate records, metrics, and budgets to ensure compliance and program effectiveness

 

This role is based in Melbourne, FL with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. Highly qualified candidates outside the area may be considered for remote work.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a forward-thinking professional who knows how to connect talent development to real business results. You’re analytical, collaborative, and driven by a passion for empowering others.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting talent initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and career development
  • Proven ability to design and execute engaging programs that drive employee growth and retention
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and delivering actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and proficiency in HR systems and tools (SurveyMonkey, UKG, Absorb, Nectar preferred)
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
  • Experience managing vendors and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industry trends in employee engagement, recognition, and DEIB
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

  • Must be able to work consistently in an office or hybrid environment
  • Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs. and support training/event setup
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, and carry training materials
  • Must be able to travel occasionally to support training or leadership events
  • PHR certification and HVAC/service industry experience are a plus
